I know what it feels like to be dizzy and overwhelmed with life–and not just because I am a blonde! 🙂 Actually, this white hair of mine is the result of many years of much trial and tribulation! And all of it, as I look back, was for God’s greater glory, my own good and for the help of others. Yet, I will not diminish the difficulty and pain of those times. My heart aches for those of you, my friends, who are currently on the Potter’s wheel. What I would like to share with you is what He taught me there and how I was able to not only survive but also thrive. This poem is called “Clay” and is grounded in this Scripture: “We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair . . . ” (2 Corinthians 4:7-8). May you hear the quiet whistle of the Good Shepherd as He works . . . and be soothed in the unfailing wisdom and love of the Almighty One. You are being shaped in ways that you cannot imagine!
